Enable Enhanced Conversions for Google Ads

1. Navigate to Google Ads, click Tools & Settings then under the Measurement column click Conversions
2. In the left hand panel click Settings
3. Expand the Enhanced Conversions options and check the Turn on Enhanced Conversions box
4. Click the drop down arrow and and select Google Tag, click save
5. To confirm Enhanced Conversions are enabled, click back to Summary then into your conversion (Purchase)
6. Ensure that within the Enhanced conversion field you see Managed through Google Tag
The Shopify app will then automatically send hashed first-party, user-provided data from your website when a user converts. This data is then used to match your customers to Google Accounts, which were signed in to when they engaged with one of your ads.
